A multi-Sensory Encounter with Olive Trees

Jar48

About

Olive trees are in motion, and we are all connected to them, each in our own way. This 2-hour sensory workshop invites participants to explore their relationship with olive trees through touch, taste, listening, reading, writing, and postcard-making. Through shared sensory encounters and collective reflection, we will consider how connection is felt, remembered, and experienced differently by each of us. Together, we will engage with olive trees not only as symbols or resources, but as living presences entangled with memory, movement, culture, and everyday life. Moderator: Jülide Sezer, Independent researcher We will create our own unique postcards during the workshop. Olive tree-based snacks and one non-alcoholic drink of your choice are included in the price. No prior knowledge is required. All materials are included in the price.
